| campo de control | IA_The proposal of replacing fossil fuels used for heat generation in the corn mills by solar heaters is where the importance of the present work lies. This idea has become an actual option to avoid environmental contamination. A parabolic reflector of 2.5-m-diameter is proposed, and the suggested materials for its construction are galvanized sheet metal steel 1020; and black painted copper for the receiver. A hydraulic pipe installation, in which the heat losses are measured in order to verify that the water´s temperature does not decrease to a point that is insufficient for the nixtamalization process, is projected. |
