México requiere impulsar la producción de carne de conejo para ayudar a los productores a mejorar sus niveles de ingreso y desarrollo. En la situación económica por la que atraviesa el país, resulta prioritario invertir un esfuerzo para generar empleos que garanticen ingresos a las familias campesinas, como es el caso de Ocozocoautla de Espinosa Chiapas. El presente proyecto surgió con el propósito de ofrecer la carne de conejo en un empaque de polietileno al alto vació con la finalidad de comercializar el producto en tiendas de supermercados como Soriana y Chedraui en Tuxtla Gutiérrez, así como en restaurantes de la región. El producto que se ofrecerá cumple con las características establecidas por las normas relacionadas con el producto; aunque su mercado es reducido por lo que se debe desarrollar y ampliar mediante la promoción. Para el proyecto se determinó una inversión de $ 1,698,840.68 y tras realizar la evaluación económica los indicadores obtenidos tanto el VAN como la TIR son favorables siendo de $ 322,702 y 34.88% para la empresa y de $ 546,832 y 42.93% para el proyecto. La relación B/C es de 1.55 y el periodo de recuperación de la inversión es de tres años. Se determinó en el análisis de sensibilidad que el proyecto tiene cierta flexibilidad lo que permitiría afrontar determinadas situaciones desfavorables que afectan su rentabilidad. Finalmente se concluye que la instalación y puesta en marcha de este proyecto es factible técnica, económica y socialmente. --

Mexico requires to promote the rabbit meat production that allows the producers to improve their income and development levels. In the economical situation that the country is living, it results very important to invest an effort in generating employments that guarantee better incoming levels to the peasant families, like those that live in Ocozocoautla de Espinosa, Chiapas. The present project appeared with the purpose of offering rabbit meat in a polyethylene pack at a high vacuum with the objective of commercializing the product in supermarket stores as Soriana and Chedraui in Tuxtla Gutierrez and also in some restaurants of the region. The product that will be offered satisfy the characteristics that are established by the norms related to the product. The market of the product is reduced, so it may be developed and wide opened by means of its promotion. It was determined an investment of $1,698,840.68 and after making the economical evaluation, the indicators obtained, both the internal rate of return (IRT) and the net present value (NPV), were favorable, being of $322,702 and 34.88% respectively for the enterprise and of $546,832 and 42.93% for the project. The benefit/cost relationship is of 1.55 and the period to recover the investment is of three years. In the sensibility analysis, it was determined that the project has certain flexibility that allows it to face determinate unfavorable situations that may affect its profitability. Finally, it is concluded that the installation and implementation of this project is technical, economical and socially feasible.
