El presente estudio reúne un conjunto de antecedentes técnicos y económicos, para determinar la factibilidad, rentabilidad y nivel de riesgo sobre el establecimiento de una industrializadora de limón persa (Citrus latifolia, Persian) en el municipio de Papantla, Veracruz. El municipio de Papantla, es uno de los mayores productores de limón persa del estado, además se reporta una tendencia creciente en la producción, la cual demanda el mercado nacional. Por tal motivo el presente estudio surge como una necesidad de obtener un mayor beneficio de la producción de este fruto al darle valor agregado. Para este proyecto se determinó que es necesaria una inversión de $18, 863,976.28 y tras analizar su comportamiento en un horizonte de 10 años, los indicadores financieros obtenidos fueron: una TIR de 52.0% y una VAN de $103, 909,356.00. Se determinó también mediante un análisis de sensibilidad que aún cuando los costos variables aumenten, el valor de la TIR y la VAN, en la evaluación del proyecto siguen siendo aceptables. Finalmente se concluye que la instalación y puesta en marcha de este proyecto es técnica y económicamente viable. --

This study has as its purpose to collect of technical and economic antecedents, to determine the feasibility, profitability and risk level on the establishment of an industrializing Persian lime (Citrus latifolia, Persian) in the Papantla town, Veracruz. The Papantla towm is one of the more producers of Persian lemon in the state, besides an increasing trend is reported in the production which sues the national market. The present study arises like a need to obtain a bigger benefit of the production of this fruit to give added value. For this project it was determined that it is necessary an investment of $18, 863, 976.28 Mexican pesos and after analyzing their behavior in a horizon of 10 years, the financial indicators obtained were: a TIR of 52.0% and a VAN of $ 103, 909,356.00. It was also determined through a sensitivity analysis that even when the variable costs increase, the value of the TIR and the VAN in project evaluation are still acceptable. Finally it was concluded that the installation and setting in march of this project is technically and economically feasible.
