El objetivo de este trabajo fue la de evaluar la pertinencia de la inversión en la instalación de una planta pasteurizadora en el municipio de Calpulalpan Tlaxcala, cuyos beneficiarios serán la asociación de productores AGLEPLECA. El lugar propuesto para la instalación es apropiado, ya que reúne las condiciones necesarias en cuanto a abasto de materia prima, vías de comunicación para transporte de producto terminado y un mercado en expansión. La capacidad de la planta será de 10, 000 L, con una inversión inicial calculada de $5, 735, 768, obteniendo una utilidad contable de $ 4, 657, 568 para el año 10 de operación. La Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR) calculada para el proyecto fue de 54.9% y para la empresa fue de 111.2%, esto con relación a la Tasa Mínima de Retorno Aceptable (TMRA) calculada que fue de 19.2%, por lo que se determino que el proyecto es factible ya que la TIR es mayor; además se obtuvo un Valor Actual Neto (VAN) de $21,149, 553 y $23, 810, 577, para el proyecto y la empresa, respectivamente. El proyecto es más sensible a la variación del precio de venta del producto, ya que a una disminución del 20%, la TIR es de 30.8% y de 42.6%; por su parte, el aumento en el costo de la materia prima no representa riesgo, ya que al variarlo un 20%, se tiene una TIR del 45.29% y de 87.28% para el proyecto y la empresa respectivamente, las cuales son mayores a la TRMA. El punto de equilibrio para el primer año es de 23, y para el año diez de 7.

The objective of this work was to evaluate the investment factibility of installing a pasteurizer plant in the municipality of Calpulalpan located in Tlaxcala state. It’s beneficiaries will be AGLEPLECA, a producer’s association, the place proposed for the installation is adequate because it presents the necessary conditions in terms of raw material facilities, infrastructure for the transportation of products and a growing market. The plant capacity will be 10, 000 L with a first investment of $ 5, 735, 768 Mexican pesos. From the project, $ 4, 657, 568 Mexican pesos of utility will be obtained in the 10th year of operation. The Internal Return Rate (IRR) calculated for the project was 54.9 % and for the enterprise it was 111.2 %. The Acceptable Minimum Return Rate (AMRR) calculated was 19.2 %. Based on the results, it was determined that the project is factible because the Internal Return Rate is higher than the Acceptable Minimum Return Rate. In addition it was obtained a Present Net Value (PNV) of $21, 149, 553 and $ 23, 810, 577 Mexican pesos for the project and the enterprise respectively. The project is sensitive to variation in the product price, a decrease of 20 % in the variable mores the Internal Return Rate to 30.8 % for the project and 42.6 % for the enterprise, it does not represent any risk because an increase of 20 % results in an Internal Return Rate of 45.29 % and 87.28 % for the project and the enterprise respectively.
