El presente trabajo se realizó con el propósito de formular y evaluar un proyecto técnico-económico para la creación de una planta agroindustrial para el procesamiento de café (coffea arabica L.) producido en la Región de Huatusco, desde una perspectiva de conservación de los recursos naturales que hacen posible la cafeticultura, aunado a una mayor equidad social para los productores menos favorecidos del sector, quienes están pasando en estos tres últimos años una catástrofe económica y social. El proyecto impactara de manera importante en la economía de dicha región beneficiando a 509 socios (422 hombres y 87 mujeres), que contribuyen con un total de 1,026 has plantadas con cafetal; además de otros 87 grupos que suman un total de 2,168 productores con aproximadamente 5000 has de cafetal en la región; igualmente generara aproximadamente 130 empleos en la industria. De los resultados obtenidos por los indicadores económicos (VAN= $62,057,779.94, TIR= 65.50% y R B/C= 1.47) se dictamina que el proyecto es técnica y económicamente viable. --

The present work I am made in order to formulate and to evaluate an technicaleconomic project for the creation of an agro-industrial plant for the processing of coffee (coffea arabica L) produced in the Region of Huatusco, from a perspective of conservation of the natural resources that make the cafeticultura possible, combined to a greater social fairness for the favored producers less of the sector, that are passing in these three last years an economic and social catastrophe. The project was affecting in an important way the economy of the above mentioned region benefiting 509 associates (422 men and 87 women), that add a whole of 1,026 you have planted with coffee field; besides other 87 groups that add a whole of 2,168 producers with approximately 5000 you have of coffee field in the region; equally it was generating approximately 130 employments in the industry. Of the results obtained by the economic indicators (VAN = $62, 057, 779.94, TIR = 65.50% and R BC = 1.47) is considered that the project is technical and economically viable.
