El presente estudio reúne un conjunto de antecedentes, técnicos económicos y sociales para determinar la factibilidad, rentabilidad y nivel de riesgo de establecer una empacadora de naranja, en el municipio de Tihuatlán, Veracruz. El municipio de Tihuatlan, es uno de los mayores productores de naranja del estado, además se reporta una tendencia creciente en la producción, la cual demanda el mercado nacional ya que la naranja es la fruta de mayor consumo en nuestro país, sin embargo en la actualidad el mercado nacional demanda más fruta de calidad. Por tal motivo el presente estudio surge como una necesidad de obtener un mayor beneficio de la producción de esta fruta al darle valor agregado. Para este proyecto se determinó que es necesaria una inversión de $ 4,137,397 y tras analizar su comportamiento en un horizonte de 10 años, los indicadores financieros obtenidos fueron: una TIR de 84.03% y una VAN de $11,143,920 y un periodo de recuperación de la inversión de 5 años. Se determinó también mediante un análisis de sensibilidad que aun cuando el precio del producto disminuya, el valor de la TIR y la VAN, en la evaluación del proyecto siguen siendo aceptables. Finalmente se concluye que la instalación y puesta en marcha de este proyecto es técnica, económica, social y ambientalmente factible. --

This study has as its purpose to collect a join of technical economic and social antecedents, to determine the feasibility, profitability and the risk level for establishing orange in the Tihuatlán town, Veracruz State of México. The Tihuatlán town he is one of the more producers of orange in the state, besides an increasing trend is reported in the production which sues the national market because the orange is the fruit of more consumption in our country, nevertheless at present the national market sues more quality fruit. The present study arises like a necessity to obtain a bigger benefit of the production of the fruit giving them added value. For this project is was determined that it is necessary an investment of $ 4,137,397 Mexican pesos and after analyzing their behavior in a six year-old horizon, the obtained financial indicator were: a TIR de 84.03% and a VAN de $11,143,920 and a period of recovery of the 5 year-old investment. It was also determined by means of an analysis of sensibility that still when the price of the product diminishes, the value of the TIR and the VAN in the evaluation of the project it continues being acceptable. Finally you conclude that the installation and setting in march of this project are technically, economically, social and environmentally feasible.
