Debido a que es una de las frutas que más se consume en México, y tiene una demanda creciente a nivel nacional, pero también porque, no se le da el acondicionamiento adecuado para que esta fruta tenga un mayor valor agregado en el mercado. Es por ello que se presenta este estudio para acondicionar la naranja y ofrecer un producto de calidad y con un valor agregado. Para este proyecto se determinó la inversión necesaria que es de $ 8, 773,812.93 y los indicadores financieros obtenidos fueron; la TIR de 30.63%, una VAN de $ 12, 371,006.55, una relación B/C de 1.27. Dichos indicadores proyectados a 10 años, también se evaluó el impacto ambiental de la empresa, siendo satisfactorio el resultado. Con base en estos resultados se concluye que la instalación de la empacadora es viable, es decir que se puede ejecutar el proyecto. -- The present work has as purpose determine the technical - economic feasibility for the installation of a packing of orange (Citrus sinensis L.) in Venustiano Carranza municipality, Puebla. Due to the fact that it is one of the fruits that more is consumed in México, and it has an increasing national demand, but also because, the suitable conditioning is not given in order that this fruit has a major value added in the market. Is for it that appears this study to condition the orange and to offer a quality product and with an added value. For this project the necessary investment that is of $ 8, 773,812.93 and the financial obtained indicators were; the TIR of 30.63 %, one VAN of $ 12, 371,006.55, a relation B/C of 1.27. The above mentioned indicators projected to 10 years, also the environmental impact of the company was evaluated, being satisfactory the result.
