La cantidad de materia prima disponible se estimó -con ayuda de encuestas y colecta de información mediante investigación de campo con productores- en 44 toneladas anuales, los meses productivos de acuerdo a la estacionalidad de producción son de noviembre a febrero, posteriormente se planteó el diseño ingenieril y organizacional de la agroindustria. En la fase del proceso de acondicionamiento, se propuso un tipo de beneficiado húmedo, con equipos sustentables que eficienticen el proceso y reduzcan el impacto al medio ambiente. En el proceso de torrefacción se proponen dos tipos de tostado y tres de molienda. Posterior al estudio técnico-social, se estimaron los costos e inversiones, los cuales permitieron conocer que para implementar el negocio se requiere una inversión de $1,871,681, donde un 65% será cubierto por los socios y el resto por fuentes financieras externas. Finalmente, se dictaminó la factibilidad del proyecto y de la empresa, considerando el análisis de riesgo y la tasa interna de rentabilidad.
