<br/><br/> La presente tesis tiene como objetivo presentar una revisión sistemática de literatura con análisis bibliométrico en relación con la cantidad de informes científicos generados de las propiedades mecánicas de los frutos, recopilando información del enfoque de estudio, tendencia de generación de la información a través de los años, países que más aportan en el estudio sobre la temática, autores más prolíficos en el tema, número de citaciones y palabras clave. Se utilizó la metodología PRISMA para la recopilación de artículos relacionados con las propiedades mecánicas de los frutos, empleando las bases de datos Scopus® y Web of Science© 2021 Clarivate, Para después proceder con la organización de la información recopilada que facilite su interpretación y análisis de datos haciendo uso de gráficos diseñados con los programas VOSviewer y R Bibliometrix 3.0 software: Biblioshiny. Los resultados muestran que la producción de información científica en torno al tema es muy pobre y poco explorada. Observamos que en promedio se publica un artículo científico por año lo que resulta ser muy bajo en el ámbito de la investigación y es notorio observar el poco conocimiento que se tiene acerca de este tema.  The objective of this thesis is to present a systematic literature review with bibliometric analysis in relation to the number of scientific reports generated on the mechanical properties of fruits, gathering information on the focus of the study, the trend of information generation over the years, the countries that contribute most to the study on the subject, the most prolific authors on the subject, the number of citations and keywords. The PRISMA methodology was used to collect articles related to the mechanical properties of fruits, using the Scopus® and Web of Science© 2021 Clarivate databases, and then proceed with the organization of the information collected to facilitate its interpretation and data analysis using graphs designed with VOSviewer and R Bibliometrix 3.0 software: Biblioshiny. The results show that the production of scientific information on the subject is very poor and little explored. We observed that an average of one scientific article is published per year, which is very low in the field of research, and it is notorious to observe the lack of knowledge about this topic.
