En el presente trabajo se determinó el contenido de proteínas en doce colectas de Azolla, nativas de diferentes regiones de México. Cada colecta fue considerada como un tratamiento con 3 repeticiones, las variables analizadas fueron: producción de materia fresca, materia seca y contenido de proteínas. La reproducción del material vegetal se realizó en invernadero, en charolas de plástico de 17 x 9 x 6 cm con área aproximada de 153 cm2, los nutrimentos para las plantas se suministraron mediante la solución Yoshida. Para la producción de biomasa se incluyeron tres fechas de siembra (27 de septiembre, 20 de octubre y el 7 de noviembre del 2003) y la cosecha se hizo de 18 a 21 días. La determinación de proteínas se realizó mediante el procedimiento de Kjeldhal. La colecta de Azolla de Tlahuac produjo mayor contenido de materia seca con 1.03 g y la de el valor más bajo correspondió a la colecta de Jojutla con 0.56. Por otro lado la colecta de Sinaloa presentó el mayor contenido de proteína con 28.6 % y la colecta de Jiutepec reportó el valor más bajo de proteína con 18.2 %. No se encontró una relación directa entre la producción de materia seca y el contenido de proteína en las colectas de Azolla. En general el contenido de proteína de estas colectas correspondió a lo especificado por algunos autores. -- |

In the present work the protein content in twelve was determined you collect of Azolla, native of different regions from Mexico. Each collects was considered like a treatment with 3 repetitions, the analyzed variables were: production of fresh matter, dry matter and protein content.
