La leche es un alimento completo para el ser humano. La necesidad de este alimento y la poca producción en México ha llevado a la creciente importación de este producto. Debido a que es indispensable para el hombre se debe cuidar la calidad desde su obtención hasta su consumo. La industria de nacional se consolidó en la década de los cuarenta a consecuencia del desarrollo industrial y a la expansión del mercado interno. En el periodo de 1950 a 1970 se desarrolló un proceso de integración de la actividad lechera, dando origen a industrializadoras de lácteos importantes como la region de La Laguna En la actualidad existen grandes pasteurizadoras y productores de leche que estan y seguiran impidiendo el crecimiento en el mercado a los pequenos ganaderos, por esta razon las organizaciones de productores se han conformado con el objetivo de mantener su producción. Los pequeños productores son mayoria, y sin embargo, tienen mas problemas para la comercialización. Debido a esto la "Asociación Local de Productores Rurales" de Coatlinchan, Municipio de Texcoco Estado de México, ve oportunidad de negocio en la pasteurizacion y envasado de leche para mejorar las utilidades económicas. Con este objetivo se formula el actual proyecto que requiere una inversión total de $886,222 y se analiza su rentabilidad en un lapso de 10 años. Los indicadores de rentabilidad calculados son: una TIR de 77% y un VAN de $3, 178,527. En el analisis de sensibilidad, disminuyendo la producción en 40% y el precio en 20% la TIR es aceptable, lo que demuestra la flexibilidad del proyecto para enfrentar este tipo de variaciones. Se concluye que la instalación y la puesta en marcha del proyecto son técnica y económicamente factible.

The milk is a complete food for the human being. The need of this food and small production in Mexico has taken the increasing importation of this product. Because itis indispensable for the people is due to take care of the quality from its obtaining toits consumption. The national industry consolidated in the Forties as a result of theindustrial development and to the expansion of the internal market. In the period from1950 to 1970 there developed a process of integration of the dairy activity, givingorigin to industries of lacteal important as the region of "La Laguna". At the presenttime great milk processors and producers exist that are and will continue preventing the growth in the market the small cattle dealers, therefore the organizations of producers have been satisfied to the objective to maintain their production. The small producers are majority, and nevertheless, they have more problems for the commercialization. Due to this the "Asociación Local de Productores Rurales" of Coatlinchan, Municipality of the Texcoco, Mexico State, sees opportunity of business in the pasteurization and milk packaging to improve the economic utilities. With this objective the present project is formulated that requires a total investment of $886.222 and its yield in a lapse of 10 years is analyzed. The calculated indicators of yield are: a TIR of 77% and a VAN of $3,178,527. In the sensitivity analysis, increasing the production in 40% and with a diminution of 20% in the price of the product the TIR is acceptable. Shows flexibility to us of the project, to face this type of situations. One concludes that the installaticn and beginning of the prcject are technical and economically viable.
